When I was just beginning my Master’s degree, I created Inlumino Communications and completed short-term publicity and copywriting projects, but it wasn’t until late 2012 that I launched the business as a full-time consultancy.
A passion for the drinks and lifestyle sector drives my clientele, but my career and client history demonstrates an ability to work with clients from a variety of industries.
Most recently I worked as Promotions and Publicity Officer at the Catholic Education Office Sydney. Prior to this I had a stint in a communications role at Liquor Marketing Group. I wasn’t always in PR – for close to six years I was a high school teacher and will tell anyone willing to listen that I was the school’s greatest basketball coach.
My post-grad Communication Management studies at UTS give me a sound communications background while my Arts/Teaching undergraduate degree from ACU and years of teaching teenagers provide me with a genuine ability to captivate an audience.
I’m passionate about supporting great causes, and assist with PR for Change Coffee, an annual event raising money for Eniwe Children’s Fund, which is on a mission to improve the lives of abandoned and underprivileged children through various housing, food, and skills development initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa.
I recently joined the teaching staff at UTS as a casual tutorial leader in the School of Communication.
